Amy and I have always been polar opposites and I used to feel a pressure to preface talking about her by saying things like “I don’t agree with everything she does but” I’m realizing now how insane that is and I will always go to bat for @Iamamystreet I actually on-boarded Amy to Solana 4 years ago. Her and some other girls went viral for making spaces targeted at crypto guys. I used to join them ironically as the class troll and my followers loved it. None of them knew anything about crypto and most of them just wanted men to send them money. Amy on the other hand stopped doing these spaces and wanted to learn everything she could about blockchain. She started joining my twitter spaces every single day and would listen for hours taking notes about what she was learning. She would write down words or terms she heard in the space but didn’t know like block space, proof of history, monolithic design, & validators and would then google the terms or dm me asking about them later. She also bought the pico top of thugbirdz to be a part of the culture and held it to zero as her tuition. Since then, she has shown up every single day for 4 years straight while all the other girls proved themselves to be tourists. She’s gone viral multiple times, run massive successful marketing campaigns, thrown great events and worked for awesome companies. Amy FUD is cheap engagement directed at someone who’s been a net positive to the space. I honestly don’t understand it. Anyone who is known on the internet should expect FUD, but what I’ve seen directed at Amy lately has shown how ugly some of you really are.
