What's Wallet Connect?

Wallet Connect or connects your OKX Wallet to your Exchange account, allowing you to transfer up to 10,000 USD daily without additional verification. This feature is currently available in select regions. Stay tuned for updates.

How do I connect accounts with Wallet Connect?

On the app: go to Menu > Profile and settings > Wallet Connect > Connect wallet > Select the wallet you want to connect > Enter your wallet password and complete the verification

Note: to connect your wallet, you are required to log in to both your exchange account and Web3 wallet.

On the app: go to Menu > Profile and settings > Wallet Connect > Select the More icon > Disconnect from account

Does connecting an account pose a security risk to my Exchange account?

No, connecting your account is secure and requires you to log in to your Exchange account. You can withdraw up to 10,000 USD within 24 hours without a password. Any amount exceeding this limit will require additional verification.

Does connecting an account pose a security risk to my wallet?

No. Connecting requires a wallet signature, ensuring that only you can complete the process. Your seed phrase and private keys are never stored, keeping your wallet secure.

What are the rules?

  • Only verified Exchange main accounts can connect wallets.

  • A wallet address can only be connected to one Exchange account at a time. Connecting a new account automatically disconnect the previous one.

  • Each Exchange account can connect up to 10 wallets.

  • Switching devices requires reactivating connected wallets.

  • The Wallet Connect feature allows you to connect your exchange account with your wallet. Users under 18 years old are not eligible to register an exchange account and therefore can't use the Wallet Connect feature.
